Coach Jason Kidd announced that backup point guard Facundo Campazzo will be eligible to suit up for the Mavericks' game

against the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday night. This will be the first time he has worn a uniform since joining the team on October 18.

Before taking the court as an end-of-the-bench ball-handling option for the Denver Nuggets over the previous two seasons,

the 31-year-old Argentinian had to finish the renewal of his work visa.

After the team's practice on Monday, Kidd stated, "He's cleared to play. "Hopefully tomorrow we can get him in."

Tuesday's game will be missed by Frank Ntilikina (right ankle effusion) and Davis Bertans (right knee effusion).
