...and racing in relation to the collision that claimed the lives of offensive lineman Devin Willock and a member of the recruiting team.
According to the Athens-Clarke County Police Department's arrest warrant, which was made public by The Associated Press,
Carter was competing in a 2021 Jeep Trackhawk race with Chandler LeCroy, a 24-year-old recruitment assistant who was operating a 2021 Ford Expedition
Carter was supposed to go to the NFL scouting combine in Indianapolis on Wednesday, but Lt. Shaun Barnett of the Athens-Clarke County
Police Department told the media that Carter intends to turn himself in when he gets back to Athens to take care of the warrant.
LeCroy and Willock were killed in the collision, which took place a short while after the Bulldogs' celebration and parade
