NASCAR World Reacts To Unfortunate William Byron News

William Byron won't be starting in the position he anticipated for the Go Bowling at The Glen race on Sunday.

During a pre-race check, according to Bob Pockrass of FOX Sports, officials discovered an electrical problem in Byron's No. 24 car. He'll reposition himself in the back for unauthorized changes.

Just to be clear, William Byron and Ty Gibbs are unable to stage the masculine version of a cat fight.

Gibbs resembles the JV basketball water boy in terms of appearance and muscle,

and Byron has a track record of behavior that would make Dale Carnegie look like a street thug.

But after the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Watkins Glen on Saturday, calmer heads prevailed,

Credit Byron for understanding he didn't lose anything as a result of Gibbs' ill-advised muscular move and Gibbs for realizing he didn't have the moral high ground.

Gibbs versus Byron would therefore be at best a kitten fight.
