Joe Mixon House: Police responded to a complaint about probable gunfire late on Monday night and searched Joe Mixon’s home, a star player for the Cincinnati Bengals. According to reports, officers knocked on Mixon’s door about midnight and taped up the area around his house as a crime scene. Regrettably, a youngster was transported to the hospital with minor wounds, however it is not yet known how severe they were. Mixon’s involvement in the event is still up in the air, and police departed the area without making any arrests. According to a nearby Fox TV outlet, the Hamilton County Sheriff deputies got there around 8:30 p.m. EST, and they taped off Mixon’s house around 11 p.m.
According to reports, there was a potential crime in the player’s yard, as at least one evidence marker was found. The news reporter at the scene claimed that there were multiple markers, which he believed could be bullet casings from the shots that were fired.
Deputies were also present at the scene and were seen knocking loudly on Mr Mixon’s door, identifying themselves and asking him to come out. They arrived at his home with an envelope of documents at around 01:30 on Tuesday morning, just before several deputies entered the house with flashlights. Three more officers later arrived with notepads.
Mr Mixon’s sister later confirmed that he had no involvement in the incident, while a neighbor reported that the shooting occurred as teenagers were playing with toy Nerf guns in the vicinity. The neighbor claimed that the shots were fired when some of the foam darts went into a neighbor’s yard, and the neighbor in question opened fire.
It’s worth noting that this incident happened a little over a month after Mr Mixon was issued a warrant for his arrest on charges of aggravated menacing for allegedly pointing a gun at a woman. However, these charges were later dropped.
Despite these incidents, Mr Mixon still has a year left on his contract with the Bengals. He had a successful season in 2021, scoring 13 touchdowns and being selected for the Pro Bowl.
